About the Firm
The firm now known as Collins & Aromatorio, P.C., was established in 1970, when Lawrence C. Collins began the practice of law in Byron, Georgia. Robert J. Aromatorio joined the firm in 1993, when the professional corporation between the two attorneys was formed.
The firm engages in the general practice of law in the Middle Georgia area. The expansion of the firm has allowed for a larger area of practice and for a quicker response time to the needs of clients. Among the areas of practice in which the firm conducts a substantial amount of business are: real estate, personal injury, automobile accidents, corporations, criminal law, juvenile law, DUI, collections, domestic relations, and wills and estates.
The corporate practice has included the formation of over one hundred corporations for profit, as well as several non-profit corporations. The firm also conducts annual meetings and engages in general business counseling for such business entities.
The firm has a growing practice in the area of personal injury, including automobile accidents, within the region. The majority of the firm's civil cases are settled by negotiation short of litigation.
A cornerstone of the practice has long been in the area of real estate law. Collins & Aromatorio represents banks and lending institutions in general counseling and secured transactions. The real estate practice also includes land use, title examinations, and development of large scale subdivisions.
In addition to the general practice of law, the firm is an issuing agent for a land title insurance agency, which is a member of the American Land Title Association (ALTA).
